Life in Between
The story starts with what might be its shocking end. Would you follow your heart even if you knew it would break? Is there ever really a choice?
“That’s not why we’re here, though—to change what’s already been written.” - Dira
In this intimate and psychological novel, the unnamed narrator and the charismatic Matheo meet in college. Each of them is searching for something that might make them feel cherished, free, and complete. Through fated encounters, cross-country escapades, and revelations that lift them as high as they take them low, both struggle to heal wounds they don’t fully understand. As they fight for a tender yet volatile relationship, they’ll have to decide if either could survive alone. All the while, the narrator keeps a concerning secret—a mysterious voice is hovering nearby and warning of challenging truths.
“Everything has changed, and it will always be enough.” - Narrator
“It will never be enough.” - Dira
Threaded with blurred boundaries and infused with themes of rescue, sanctuary, trauma, and devotion, Life in Between explores the tension between free will and inevitability as it probes the cost of connection. When all‑consuming love leads to life‑altering fractures of the soul, can you ever move on?
Beach of the Universe
After dying and entering a liminal shoreline where souls choose new lives, Cassian awakens as a second‑year medical student with fragmentary memories of a love he refuses to believe in. Convinced that love is nothing more than chemistry and commitment, he builds a life designed to keep vulnerability at bay.
But as involuntary past‑life memories fracture his denial—and as a lie threatens to drive a wedge between him and Rowan, the best friend he depends on more than he admits—Cassian spirals toward a shattering emotional reckoning.
Told in three movements, the novel traces Cassian’s denial, his collapse into the truth of what love demands, and finally, the unsettling question that remains when Rowan inexplicably disappears: Was his closest confidant a friend, a memory from another lifetime, or a stranger somehow woven into the fabric of his current existence?
